August Update!

August 15th a date I personally will remember for a long time to come.... the date close contact face-to-face beauty services could finally resume working in the UK following the COVID-19 pandemic.

It has been a very busy couple of weeks back at work on shoots, weddings, lessons and bridal trials. I feel very grateful to have work, as a freelancer it can be difficult at times and to have such lovely clients.  I have managed to retain some weddings this year which I know many other wedding industry suppliers and venues have not been as fortunate.  I have also been lucky enough to pick up some last minute wedding bookings for September.

Before I was back physically working I occupied myself with painting everyday which was therapeutic and enjoyable for me.   There is a theme here you may be able to tell I am a little obsessed with Lips!

I have worked on some fabulous styled wedding shoots recently, here is a few of my behind the scenes shots taken on my I-phone but I am excited to see the final images!

I managed to jump in on a cheeky behind the scenes group shot!

Some hair and makeup styling for weddings, trials and shoots.

Esmé Robinson Q&A:

What advice would you give to Brides currently searching for a wedding dress?

Choose the dress that makes you feel incredible, the one you love, the one you don’t want to take off, don’t worry if it wasn’t what you came into the shop thinking you would want.

How far in advance should a Bride choose a dress?

Its best to start as soon as possible, but I would say a minimum of 7 months is preferred to have enough time to make the dress and have time for alterations. However, most of our dresses, we can also sell to you today, as we are happy to sell our samples to brides.

What is your top tip for Brides?

Enjoy the experience, hopefully you will only do this once, so enjoy every moment, try and relax and find happiness in it all.

Why do you love working in the wedding industry?

Meeting lots of happy, excited friendly people everyday and being able to make brides dreams come true

Describe your style?

Our boutique covers a range of styles, modern, traditional, boho and romantic.

Why should a Bride choose you?

Because we genuinely care! We give each bride the whole boutique to themselves (with bubbles!) to make sure they have our full attention to make it a very special exclusive experience.
