OCTOBER UPDATE!

What I'm eating...

Fresh wild Sardines from M&S. I literally saw a recent reel by @itsmarinaalix on Instagram and have been making this on repeat!  It is so healthy and delicious and not something I would usually even contemplate, go check out her account!

What I'm drinking...

Lots of plain water! Boring I know but I usually drink a lot of sparkling water so I am trying to cut that down a lot.  I am also drinking coconut water as I do find it boosts my energy! Red wine and coffee obvs!!

What I'm watching ...

Killing Jackie on Prime with iconic Catherine Zeta-Jones and we are still really enjoying Mobland on Paramount, it is a long week waiting patiently for the next episode I am so used to binge watching shows now!

What I'm working on...

I have been really busy with pre-wedding trials ahead of winter weddings, 1:1 Makeup lessons and makeup workshops. I have also worked at some lovely weddings creating some gorgeous hair and makeup.

I am working on all the admin' I do not get time to do in the summer mostly website updates, pricing reviews and make-up research and training.  I am also putting a lot more time into creating beauty content it is quite a job! but I am enjoying it so excited to see where it may lead. I have finally given in and joined Tik Tok too after years of saying No! You can find me at Nikimakeup!

What I'm doing...

I gave blood, if you can and haven't before do go do it, its quick and painless and you get complimentary snacks afterwards! It literally takes five minutes to do.

Enjoying lots of lovely balmy, sunny autumn walks with my poodle, Rufus. You can follow his antics on Instagram @rufustheredtoypoodle

What I'm buying...

I have brought a new kit back to hold my makeup and brushes, it's been a game changer for me!

It is from the Mountain equipment brand and perfect carry on size, has adjustable straps so I can easily attach it to my back which has made carrying more kit on jobs so much easier for me as I then have two free arms! So makeup chair in one and hair kit bag and handbag in the other! Honestly the glamour of this job...
