September is my Birthday month! I actually didn't do too much this year, usually I like to be on a sun lounger somewhere hot but this year settled for a couple of meals out...note to self must plan ahead and try harder next year! I had some delicious cupcakes from https://www.heavenisacupcake.net highly recommend! We also made our first visit to https://centurionclub.co.uk/dining/ for a delicious meal as well as another first we visited https://bootcantina.com in St Albans, tacos and general food heaven! I have had both restaurants on my radar for a while so it was nice to finally experience them and we highly recommend both. We actually visited Barrafina on my Birthday for tapas but I obviously enjoyed the food too much as unbelievably for me I didn't take any photos!
I have enjoyed some long autumnal dog walks and certainly enjoyed the sunnier days after the wet start start to September. Sunday Roast season has officially begun... I'm two in and plan to enjoy a few more during the winter months. I had the most delicious roast at The Dog house in Epping if you are in the area(see photo below)! https://www.facebook.com/themoletrappubepping/?_rdr The award for best crumble definitely has to go to https://thecricketersofredbourn.co.uk
I have spent some fun time with my toy poodle Rufus @rufustheredtoypoodle who we have now had for a whole year and he has brought us so much joy!
Probably one of the busiest months of the year for me this year I started August with six weddings in the first week plus a shoot, two lessons and a couple of special occasion bookings!!
I seemed to attract lots of naturally curly haired clients this month as well which is always a pleasure to polish and enhance gorgeous natural curls.
Some of my behind the scenes pic's along the way and do check out my Instagram for the full reel post @nikimakeup to go along with this blog post.
It did get less crazy as the month progressed I made time for weekly exercise as always and I enjoyed some sunshine and lovely long dog walks in the Herts and Essex country and seaside. We also visited Cambridge for the day and went on a punt with our little poodle Rufus who absolutely loved it!
I had a black eye to expertly cover for this unfortunate Mother of the Bride.
