JUNE UPDATE!

My busiest month of the year! Filled with proms, weddings, lessons and shoots. I am also busy building something new and very exciting coming soon...watch this space!

What I'm eating...

I am loving M&S Giant Chocolate buttons at the moment I cannot stop buying them and eating them! My guilty pleasure. Also loving the M&S new Olive Oil ice cream, it is delicious. Well done M&S they have some great new food products at the moment like their 3 ingredient sourdough, I have always been an M&S weekly food shopper so super happy to give them a little shout out!

What I am watching...

Obviously Apex, which was fab' and Hunting Season with Mel Gibson both were totally gripping!

Also avidly watching Clarkson's Farm, Widows Bay and Friends & Neighbours (which I love)  and let's not forget the football, come on England!

What I am reading...

Sara Davies The 6 Minute Entrepreneur, Rich as F*ck and The Subtle Art of not giving a F*ck...there's a running theme here!

It was a joy filled June and I am definitely looking forward to enjoying July, holiday's are incoming but more on that next month.

Here's a few of my i-phone snaps along the way!

e.l.f. SKIN Bronzing Drops

I just this week purchased the e.l.f. skin bronzing drops in the shade 'Rose Gold'.

I am loving them! Add a few drops of this nourishing tinted serum to your moisturiser for a natural gorgeous warm sun-kissed glow.  I also like to add a few drops to my hand cream so that my hands do not look paler than my face.  Every time I catch my face in the mirror I really do look like I've just been on holiday! A definite "Friday Fave!" I also think my clients who like to look bronzed will also love this so I will definitely be adding a bottle to my kit.

This serum can also be mixed with body lotion. Note the more drops you add the more bronzed you will be.  On the face I find two or three with a pea sized amount of moisturiser works well for me.

Pro Tip: I like to apply a small amount of moisturiser to the back of one hand.  Shake the drops well and  add 2/3 drops to it and mix together on my hand before applying to my face with finger tips starting in the centre of the face and blending out towards the hairline and jawline, I also apply to the neck for an even finish.

Key Ingredients:

Vitamin E

Sunflower Seed Oil

Available in four shades:

Rose Gold - Fair to medium skin tones

Pure Gold - Light to tan skin tones

Copper Gold - Medium to rich skin tones

Fair Gold - Fair to light skin tones

30 ml RRP £13.00

Vegan & Cruelty free.

Friday Fave! Rosalique Redness relief day cream

I have long been a fan of the Rosalique 3-in-1 Anti-redness miracle formula which is excellent for covering redness and has SPF 50. I have used this daily for many years to improve the appearance of my mild rosacea.

However in recent months I have been using the redness relief day cream and I really love it. This cream immediately calms and soothes my skin nourishing it without feeling greasy or heavy. A definite Friday Fave!

I highly recommend this if you suffer from redness or have sensitive skin.

For best results I would follow up with the 3 in 1 Anti redness Miracle formula SPF 50.

February Update!

This was a pretty cool month even though the weather was still shocking here in the UK as my husband and I got some winter sun in Miami.

We loved it! even though when we arrived it was colder than the UK for the first couple of days - very rare weather for Miami thankfully the sun and warmth soon returned. We stayed on South Beach which was a perfect location to explore. We loved Ocean Drive, South beach, the art and design districts and also visited Little Havana for a cuban coffee and famous cuban sandwich. We also saw a basketball game which was so much fun and definitely a highlight on the trip.

In February I have been busy with makeup 1:1 lessons and group workshops, bridal trials and special occasion hair and makeup. I also had a Headshots shoot in London where I did hair and makeup for twelve Ladies and gents in a Leadership team.

I also made some time to paint and Spring is in the air!
