Try using a flat eyeliner brush to press gel or creme eyeliner at the root of the top eye lashes. Begin at the outer corner of the eye pressing firmly from underneath the lashes at the root (not in the rim) working across to the inner corner. Press the index finger of the opposite hand onto the eye lid to gently push back the lid for ease of application. This method achieves beautifully natural defined eyes.
