June Update!

Wow! June has flown by I cannot believe it is nearly July! Summertime : )

June 1st began at the beautiful Brocket Hall for Sandy's wedding on a glorious sunny hot day.
Bridal preparations were calm and relaxed, I did the bridal party's makeup www.nikimakeup.co.uk lovely as always working alongside www.hairbyjaydean.com





Then I went on to do makeup and hair for Caroline in St Albans for her 40th Birthday bash, she wanted very natural soft hairstyling and glowing skin with a red lip, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to snap her makeup.



Luckily I had a few days with no shoots, weddings etc booked in so I could catch up on admin' and preparations for a Summer Makeup workshop I am holding on June 15th.

My first makeup workshop was a success and all who came seemed to have fun and learn a thing or two!!

Prom Hair & Makeup Inspiration!

Prom Season is fast approaching so I have put together some hair and makeup inspirations for you.
When choosing your prom hair and makeup do take into account your dress and other accessories you will be wearing such as jewellery, handbag and shoes. Consider a hair and makeup look that suits your personal style as well as your chosen dress! You do not want to wear your hair down if your dress has a beautiful high back detail.  Likewise you probably shouldn't go for a messy braided updo if your dress is long and traditionally elegant and do you really suit a bright red lip in a orange dress?
