My Mum's wedding!

It is not every day that your mother gets married and you get to be by her side to enjoy all the happy celebrations, I loved every minute! I designated myself matron of honour early on so that I could help where need be but I have to say Mum and John made it look easy with a little help from Mary at the wedding venue Strand House I dare say!

Stand House was the perfect venue for Mum and John's intimate wedding. Mary made sure everything ran smoothly and made the whole three day event for many of us absolutely spectacular. We all recommend Strand House very highly for weddings, events and leisurely breaks.

For some pre-wedding pampering Mum, Jo and I headed to he Rye retreat for manicures and pedicures which was a lovely experience and the girls did a fantastic job.  On the wedding day Jo and I also had our hair styled there.  I was a little worried going to a new salon for special occasion hair, but I need not have been.  I was so pleased with my hair, they listened to exactly what I wanted and did a fantastic job.  I highly recommend and hope to visit again when in the area. http://theryeretreat.co.uk

The wedding cake was themed around John's MG and looked and tasted amazing! Jackie at Cake Expectations was a delight to deal with and we highly recommend. http://www.cakeexpectations.co.uk

Mum's beautiful bouquet and flowers were designed around a vintage roses theme and looked absolutely stunning. http://www.theflowerhouse.biz/wedding-flowers/

September Update!

The 1st of the month is my birthday so the month of September always begins well!
My husband and I spent the day in London and had a superb lunch at Le Gavroche.

Wedding season has continued steadily throughout September with wedding's at some lovely venues including quirky South Farm in Royston and a fabulous wedding in Bibury in the Cotswolds.

I love the Gypsy style caravans at South farm.

We stayed overnight at The Old Bear Inn B&B for my wedding near Cirencester.

Rude not to have afternoon tea during my visit : )

Stow-on-the-wold

The weather has been better than during August in terms of sunshine, I have enjoyed some lovely sunny days spent in the countryside with my pooches.

My mum remarried on the 26th to the lovely John, congratulations again Mr & Mrs Reynolds!
The wedding took place at Strand House in Winchelsea, we had a fabulous three day house party and the weather was beautiful too (www.thestrandhouse.co.uk).  I look forward to sharing some professional shots with you soon!
