It is not every day that your mother gets married and you get to be by her side to enjoy all the happy celebrations, I loved every minute! I designated myself matron of honour early on so that I could help where need be but I have to say Mum and John made it look easy with a little help from Mary at the wedding venue Strand House I dare say!
Stand House was the perfect venue for Mum and John's intimate wedding. Mary made sure everything ran smoothly and made the whole three day event for many of us absolutely spectacular. We all recommend Strand House very highly for weddings, events and leisurely breaks.
For some pre-wedding pampering Mum, Jo and I headed to he Rye retreat for manicures and pedicures which was a lovely experience and the girls did a fantastic job. On the wedding day Jo and I also had our hair styled there. I was a little worried going to a new salon for special occasion hair, but I need not have been. I was so pleased with my hair, they listened to exactly what I wanted and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend and hope to visit again when in the area.

The wedding cake was themed around John's MG and looked and tasted amazing! Jackie at Cake Expectations was a delight to deal with and we highly recommend.
