February Update!

I spent the beginning of the month on a break in Yorkshire, my first visit and I fell in love with Yorkshire's natural beauty.  Celebrating my hubbie's birthday we visited Wensleydale for Cheese https://www.wensleydale.co.uk and the Black sheep Brewery for Ale! https://www.blacksheepbrewery.com

We also visited http://saltsmill.org.uk a great space for all things art and especially good if you are a fan of David Hockney's work.  I also visited his new exhibition at http://www.tate.org.uk/visit/tate-britain this month which is just fabulous you must go if you can! I am a little obsessed with him at the moment, currently reading his biography too.

Whilst in Harrogate we had to do afternoon tea at https://www.bettys.co.uk
Literally everyone we had told we were visiting Harrogate too said "you must go to Betty's" and it certainly didn't disappoint!

I saw these old vintage beauty tools in a shop window and justhad to take a snap!

A busy month for wedding trials ahead of spring/summer weddings, lots of last minute March weddings booked as well.

Just a few of the lovely ladies I have had the pleasure of working with.

We also spent some time in London this month and finally visited the shard, the views were spectacular.

A little art work...

I have made time to focus on a little art work this month and spent a fabulous Snowy and cold Saturday afternoon sketching and painting! I plan to do a lot more of this in the future.

Be Inspired - Pantone Colour of the Year 2017 'Greenery'

Spring is just around the corner... hopefully!

What better way to put a spring into our step during gloomy January than with an inspired fresh start to the New Year.

The Pantone Colour of 2017 is shade 'Greenery', let this 'nature inspired' colour give you inspiration to style anything from your home to your clothing.

Style your home:
Accessorise with accents of green including cushions, throws, vases and ornaments.

Style your Wedding:
Hair crowns, flowers and bouquets can all look stunning in shades of green.
Go bold and choose green shoes, jewellery or even bridesmaids dresses.

Fashion Styling:
The spring summer shows had many versatile green looks, if you aren't feeling that brave why not opt for a green belt or handbag instead.

Inspire your beauty regime:
Green shadows look great on brown eyes and pretty good on blue eyes too for that matter, it makes a gorgeous contrast so will make your eyes really stand out. Be bold with eyeshadow or go subtle with a little green liner.  If green makeup really is too much for you why not brighten your day with a green nail polish.
