AUGUST UPDATE!

Where did August go? Anyone else feel the same... I feel like it went so fast and the heat wave summer is coming to end which feels me with dread if I'm honest. I am such a summer girl I have loved the ongoing heatwaves! I just cannot get excited about autumn, grey rainy weather and winter clothes argh! Anyway I will throw myself into work to get me through! I have a few exciting projects on the go at the moment and all will be revealed this autumn/winter so watch this space!

I have also been working more on creating social content, and dare I say I am actually quite enjoying the creativity of it all! Wow! I am seriously impressed with this sheer lip colour, this is a definite "Friday Fave"!

It is the perfect colour for anyone who doesn't like wearing lipstick or doesn't know which shade to choose. A little rosier than your natural lip colour (cool rose) it really enhances your lips whilst not feeling heavy or uncomfortable to wear. It feels very nourishing and hydrating and adds a hint of colour and shine without being sticky like a lip gloss.  I love to keep it in my pocket and re-apply throughout the day.

Do not get me started on the gorgeous packaging! I am absolutely in love with the slim-line casing and the glorious click as you pop the lid back on to it.

If like me you always wear a lip liner pencil which I do recommend to define and make the most of your lips Charlotte Tilbury 'Pillow Talk' pairs perfectly with this shade.

This particular shade is my current staple and will definitely be a firm favourite in my pro' kit too.

PRO TIP!Apply a lip pencil all over the lips lightly first then apply a generous two or three coats of the lip colour for extra staying power.

February Update!

This was a pretty cool month even though the weather was still shocking here in the UK as my husband and I got some winter sun in Miami.

We loved it! even though when we arrived it was colder than the UK for the first couple of days - very rare weather for Miami thankfully the sun and warmth soon returned. We stayed on South Beach which was a perfect location to explore. We loved Ocean Drive, South beach, the art and design districts and also visited Little Havana for a cuban coffee and famous cuban sandwich. We also saw a basketball game which was so much fun and definitely a highlight on the trip.

In February I have been busy with makeup 1:1 lessons and group workshops, bridal trials and special occasion hair and makeup. I also had a Headshots shoot in London where I did hair and makeup for twelve Ladies and gents in a Leadership team.

I also made some time to paint and Spring is in the air!
