March Update!

I hope you have all enjoyed a lovely Easter break and lots of chocolate bunnies and eggs!

I have spent the break decorating my home office into more of a studio environment.  Firstly the ceiling was re-plastered, then I got on with filling, sanding and painting which I have to say I do love doing!  I have ordered a few very exciting things, this being one!

February update!

This year is flying by already and that is fine by me I cannot wait for summer!

I have had a busy month of wedding trials and shoots.  I have been travelling all over the place Brentwood, Leicester, Colchester, Kings Lynn, Hornchurch and Bedford to name a few!

Fantasy christmas make-up for those who are a little more adventurous!

Stick on silver stars using eyelash glue, I used blue shades of shadow for the stars and around the eyes, compliment with strong pink lips and cheeks.

Crystal eyes over black liquid liner, simply attach the crystals using tweezers and eyelash glue.

Pretty pink eyeshadow (I used MAC Pink Venus) with subtle reflective loose glitter dusted on top.  Compliment this look with soft pink cheeks and lips and shimmer highlight on the cheekbones.

I applied neon glitter all over the lids using eyelash glue.
Compliment the look with coral lips.

Gold glitter loose applied as eyeliner, eyelash glue was used to adhere it to the skin.

Smokey Green eyes (I used MAC Green and Old gold pigments) with gold glitter lightly dusted on top complimented with a pink lip (MAC lipstick in Fabby).

Here I used neutral brown eyeshadows to define the eyes (MAC shades in cork, era, and mystery).

A red lip using MAC Ruby Woo lip pencil and lipstick.

To draw the holly I used a green eyeliner pencil and finished with a swarovski crystal for the berry. You could use a red pencil for the berries or red glitter if you do not have red crystals.

Create crystal lined eyes by applying tiny silver crystals with tweezers, using eyelash glue to attach them. Try applying a set of false eyelashes first, a flick of liquid liner and then work your way along the lash line with the crystals.  I have used smokey brown eyeshadows here but you can use any eyeshadow you would like.

Pink and purple smokey eyes with purple glitter pressed on top.  I used MAC Parfait Amour and Sweetie.

Compliment this look with soft pink cheeks and lips.  I used MAC Angel lip colour and Swoon blusher.

Green eyeliner with glitter gel liner applied on top.  You can use gel, pencil, liquid or eyeshadow for the green eyeliner.  i used Mac eyeshadow in shade Steamy.

Compliment the green with pretty pink lips and cheeks.

Red lips with gold glitter applied on top, shade used MAC Russian Red.

Blend MAC shadows in Cork and Era into the eye sockets

To finish apply a set of false lashes.

Siobhan's South farm Wedding!

On 13th September I did the bridal make-up for Siobhan and her mum at South farm, Royston.

It is one of my favourite wedding venues and I am lucky enough to work here often as a recommended Make-up artist.

On this occasion I worked alongside hairstylist Tina Crossley at http://www.beautifulhair4weddings.co.uk who created an elegant and stunning updo for Siobhan's big day!
