I have long been a fan of the Rosalique 3-in-1 Anti-redness miracle formula which is excellent for covering redness and has SPF 50. I have used this daily for many years to improve the appearance of my mild rosacea.

FRIDAY FAVE! Victoria Beckham Satin Kajal Liner

I love the Victoria Beckham Eye Kajal pencils, shade Cinnamon in particular is my go to shade as it is not too dark it has just enough depth to enhance eyes.

These liners are waterproof, long lasting and extremely soft to apply making them glide on easily and blend seamlessly. 

Cinnamon is a warm shimmer brown shade, which I wear myself daily. My other favourite shades are  Black, Sequin Green and Cocoa.

I must admit when I first tried them I wasn't a fan.  I found them too soft to apply but with practice I have got use to them now and love them, a definite "Friday fave"!  Plus 25,000 five stars reviews  to date agree!

If you order online you can also opt for a complimentary pencil sharpener.  The sharpener itself is the best I have ever used and I've tried a lot in my twenty year career! The design also makes it very easy to keep clean compared to all other ones that I use.

Pro Tip!

Use the smudger end of the pencil to smoke the colour around the lash line and blend the edges of the liner that you have applied to soften any harsh lines. Make sure you apply the lid to the pencil on the correct end as it comes to keep the pencil air tight.

My Pro tip! Apply a very small amount to a brush/puff and press onto the back of your hand prior to application so that you do not apply to much product in one application, then build and layer by applying two to three times in the same way.

Application results in the complexion looking matte and even. Imperfections such as open pores are definitely disguised. This powder is perfect for creating a full matte finish.

I would recommend this for paler skins as I do find you have to apply quite a bit of bronzer and or blush to warm the face after application so it would not be the best option for all skin tones in my opinion!

Overall I love this powder it is a new firm staple in my personal makeup bag as well as in my professional kit.

Friday Fave! Weleda Skin Food Light

Certified Natural organic skincare.

I have been using this lotion for a few months now it provides a lovely base before makeup application and literally feels like it is feeding my skin before I go to sleep at night.  I actually have oily skin but I really get on well with this lotion.  It is now a firm staple in my professional makeup kit too. I have not tried the original skin food but I definitely think the light version is fabulous in its own right.

Friday Fave! La Mer The Cleansing Foam

I brought this to try in the Black Friday event before Christmas as I have wanted to try the La Mer Cleanser for some time.  I have used the moisturising cream and eye balm for many years and have always been very pleased with them both.

I have to say I am completely converted with the cleanser now too! La Mer do have a few different options for cleansers but I have always preferred a foaming cleanser that I can rinse off.

My skin feels so nourished after cleansing with it as well as soothed, calmed and super clean.  In recent years I developed mild rosacea and I swear it has helped using this product it really achieves a calm, soft brightened complexion after use...I love it!

I use a small pea sized amount lathered in my fingertips and applied in circular motions to my face then rinsed off with warm water.  A small amount is enough to remove with ease every scrap of makeup! 

Made with La Mer's Deconstructed waters it effectively draws out impurities and excess oil without disrupting the skin's moisture barrier.
