Charlotte Tilbury - The Sophisticate palette
Unlike many of the other Charlotte Tilbury quartet palettes that have sparkles and shimmers this is a gorgeous matte eyeshadow palette consisting of cream, tan, taupe and chocolate shades. A timeless palette of four colours for classic beauty suitable for day and evening looks.
Definitely a firm staple in my professional kit.

January blues anyone? I have not enjoyed recent weeks ...roll on Spring! I am definitely a summer person I hate this time of the year but at least I have had lots of beautiful new brides to meet for pre-wedding trials ahead of the spring summer wedding season!
I was also a Hitched Awards winner for the second year running which is a great start to 2023!

Finally out of crazy wedding season what a year it has been! I have just had a few weddings this month so have tried to take some down time after what has been a treadmill of a year so far! I am so lucky I absolutely love my job it helps with the back breaking exhaustion of carrying heavy kit and standing all day, not to mention some of the ridiculously early starts! I am grateful everyday for every client that chooses to work with me and I really do give 110% to each and every one of you. I actually have a couple of weekends off this month and intend to fully make the most of them!

Lots of my recent hair work below, its funny I find it so much easier to get hair images than make-up ones, the majority of people are not so keen on photographing their faces as opposed to the black of their head! I also do a lot more bridal hair styling than I did ten years ago which I am also enjoying, part up part down styles are definitely my personal favourite.
My busiest month this year for weddings and possibly the hottest and yes I did have a wedding on the day of 40 degree heat! See my little set up below and the beautiful bride after makeup.
The wedding was at a very old house in St Albans and the original toilets still in use were very much a talking point of the bridal preparations!
I also celebrated my tenth wedding anniversary! I love this photo of us dancing our wedding night away and I always find it funny I didn't top my makeup once I was clearly having too much fun in the moment.
Mum and I also saw Michael Bublé at Hatfield House finally this should have been in 2020 but due to Covid was delayed twice, it was such a great evening with perfect weather.
I started the month at a new venue for me www.clivedenhouse.co.uk , which was stunning and I am sure I will be back.

Well I am back and refreshed from a nice holiday in Marbella ahead of summer wedding season!
June has also been busy with trials, weddings and proms, it is so nice that Prom can be celebrated again after the last couple of years!
